      Wired v Wireless

      Hi,

I wonder if anyone has been experienced the same problem. I am on teh mid package. If I connect to the router wired then I can get around 6Mbps but when I connect wirelessly I get less than 2MBps. Does anyone else have this problem and (hopefully) a solution?????

      Thanks,

      Kevin

      Re: Wired v Wireless

      Use the wire - lol.
Seriously a lot of things can effect the wireless signal and a wired connection is always going to be more reliable / stable. However I can understand the versatility that wireless offers ( my cousin has 4 laptops in his house all connected wirelessly ).
Have you tried a different wireless channel, repositioning the router away from possible sources of interference such as tv, microwave etc. Also try and make sure your router is stood up on its feet and with the ariel extended up.
      cheers
