A bit faster after Sky tweaked it following DLM.

After years with BT constantly locking it at 400K I am very happy.

You really can't trust most speedtest server results.

For example, I've just run a test on speed.io and got a download speed of 18937kbps and ping of 116ms:

      http://speed.io/pics/2335/4050/speed.io.png

despite having a router sync of only ~13000kbps and pinging BBC.co.uk and getting 17ms (one benefit of being on O2).

Re: **run a speedtest and post your results here**

Everyone likes to test their speeds every now and then - me included. It's just that, as with all aspects of the internet, networks/servers get overloaded from time to time.

Our speedtest service is generally fairly reliable but not 100% of the time. Speed.io is also usually fairly good. Speedtest.net is often woefully bad. All speedtest servers struggle to give an accurate upload speed except for slow connections and never trust a ping measurement from a speedtest service. Use a ping command.

It is a joke! That is why I think this thread should be closed and a new one started using the SkyUser tester.
