sounds a bit rediculous then if the dates say as from the 22nd we are providing upto 20mbit and 1.3 upload then why should you have to wait your turn ? it doesnt make sense they seem pretty strange in there ways to be honest they dont let anyone know what there doing , u thought they would of learnt from the 1st time they rolled out dlm and noone had a clue what was going on , if its advertised from the 22nd that you should get upto 20mbit with the 1.3 upload then you should get it automatically or least be able to request it .or whats the point in saying yeah we offer 20mbit ?

I would think it will be done on an exchange basis and it does say that New users will start on the higher speeds from the 22nd and existing users will follow. Just think what would happen if everyone was switched at the same time, with just 1% having problems they would be swamped with about 250,000 support calls.
Let's face it, apart from 'bragging rights', is the speed increase really going to make much difference if you already have 16Mb? Spare a thought for those poor sods who struggle to get 2Mb.

haha is that the argument think of others who are on 2mbit? hmmmm is that the same as having 2mbit with a nice house with a garden and a fat bank account or me who lives in a flat with a faster connection and no garden and no bank account? swings and roundabouts theres always someone better off than you or worse off than you , thats not my argument the argument is if sky are offering as from the 22nd faster speeds then they should supply not do it as wait your turn or like as usual all new customers to sky get better deals , what about us customers who have been with them for many years who get no deals same old same old

would i not get the full 20mb.
I live 0.23 miles from the exchange

Your download is pretty good for your attenuation, but your upload is poor. Try plugging into the Test socket, link below, and see if you get any improvement.
