      @strumstrum, jack frost (and others)

Without your router stats and method of connection (wired/wireless) there's no way of telling whether your results are good or bad.

Firstly, you are very unlikely to see the full speed using WiFi, you must connect by cable to achieve the maximum.

DLM will be running on your line if you have been connected for less than a couple of weeks. At the moment you are capped and should see a speed of about 7Mb when your line is trained. Do not switch off or unplug your router for the first 10 days for the best results.

Thought I would try this as they have a server in Derby now, 10 miles down the road.

      ADSL Link Downstream Upstream
Connection Speed 7005 kbps 796 kbps
Line Attenuation 37 db 20 db
Noise Margin 14 db 17 db

      Edit: forgot stats

Re: **run a speedtest and post your results here**

This is my UkOnline ISP still, will post sky when its installed next Thursday, hopefully should be an improvement as it will be the Max package. Should be an 8Mb d/l, 768Kb u/l - so u/l not too shabby as its through a wireless connection on a lappy, via an extension, d/l OTOH, could do with improvement.

Stats after a cable tidy up....

Not very good actually (stats, not ping).

Your attenuation could support a lot higher sync. Your noise margin of 14db will be having a major negative impact. Have you asked Sky to cap you or have they done that (DLM or manually) in response to a problem?

tweaked using V1.02.16 - DGTeam Rev. 0835 patched

      ADSL Link Downstream Upstream
Connection Speed 16382 kbps 765 kbps
Line Attenuation 31.0 db 17.6 db
Noise Margin 3.5 db 11.0 db

noise margin is low but holds so no problem here
this is pretty much maximum isnt it ?
