May not be a bad idear for sky to think about, would be one way to get more income from it (assuming they would charge more for that service)

      Sky Mid
      Sky Max
      Then Sky Ultimate

sounds good to me (and i would not even charge them that much for the rights )

Re: **run a speedtest and post your results here**

      Hi,

I'm new to the site so I'd first like to say HELLO to everyone!

I have SKY BB MAX and here are my Speedtest.net results:

      Download: 6957
      Upload: 436
      Ping: 85
      Distance: <50mi
      Server: London

Using DSL Zone UK (distance checker) apparently I'm around 1.41km from the nearest exchange (as the crow flies / straight line).

      My router stats are:

      ADSL Link Downstream Upstream
Connection Speed 8096 kbps 768 kbps
Line Attenuation 30.0 db 17.5 db
Noise Margin 11.1 db 13.0 db

I'd like to ask if I should be getting better speeds than this, and if there is anything I can do about it?

Thanks so much, and I'd be extremely grateful for any help.

You are getting the correct speedtest results for your connection (sync) speed, BUT, your sync has been capped at 8096kbps which it shouldn't be as you're on Max.

You need to call Sky. Your noise margin shows that uncapped you would sync at something like 12,000kbps.
