Re: **run a speedtest and post your results here**

results of speedtest from this site.
Your download speed is 1744Kbps. That is 312Kbps below the average for your package
Your upload speed is 305Kbps. That is 10Kbps above the average for your package
      router stats
      ADSL Link Downstream Upstream
Connection Speed 2048 kbps 384 kbps
Line Attenuation 45 db 13.5 db
Noise Margin 17 db 13 db

I am on base at the mo, but waiting for sky to call me to upgrade to mid (they thought they had been providing my broadband for over a year so I went for the free option to start with, just in case they had the same problems again!)
I was synching at about 7M with Be* and speedtests were about 4 - 5 M downloads.

Can't see any obvious problem in your stats - your connection/speed looks fine. What problem are you having with COD4?

Probably best to start a new thread in the Gaming Forum.

      Nope - no idea.

If you gave some more info such as how you're connected (i.e. wireless or wired) and your router connection stats then it should be possible to offer a more informed opinion.

      Max

I used to have a very slow connection it was around about 800 KB/s

I haven't had any problems with sky, great for gaming perfect pings.

Re: **run a speedtest and post your results here**

Migrated to Sky yesterday from Homechoice

      Stats are:

      ADSL Link Downstream Upstream
Connection Speed 14425 kbps 764 kbps
Line Attenuation 32 db 8.5 db
Noise Margin 7 db 18 db

I'm happy with that and pings are good too.

Re: **run a speedtest and post your results here**

I am running Sky Broadband Max, and using my wifi adaptor in my downstairs bed room on my laptop.

So mabey that why the speed is at this rate.
