      Cannot get connection to internet even though showing as connected

      Hi

      I hope someone can help a fairly novice user here. Basically i have the Max Broadband package from sky. Over the past couple of weeks i have logged on through my ethernet cable and get onto the internet fine. I can get onto any website and msn. However after about 5 mins i get the page cannot be displyed error even though my LAN settings till show as connected. I turn my router off for 5 mins and restart and go through the same thing again. I have called Sky technical support who said that there is no problem with teh connection and that it could be something to do with my security and settings.

      Any help would be much appreciated.

      Are you running any firewalls, antivirus or any Nortons software at all?
