Why have I been capped?
I was having some real connection problems a few weeks ago, which were attributed to problems within the exchange. After this was fixed, I found my line speed was limited! I could no longer sync at 11300 Kbps - I was able to remain above 7db at that rate!
Is there anything that can be done to encourage Sky to remove the cap, or at least, increase it to a more sensible level?
I would also appreciate comments on the line stats.
Thank you.

Re: Why have I been capped?
I posted in 'sky unhappiness' because I was so hacked off at the poor communications from Sky regarding the matter. The thread got hijacked (the guy should have been told off for it), but unfortunately no comments received about the line stats.
No matter when the box is rebooted, it always comes back to the same speed. It never used to do this before. If I rebooted in the morning, I could go up to 12500 kbps, or around 11500 kbps at other times.
It's now stuck on 9695 kbps no matter when I reboot.
I'm surprised about the errors as I managed to clear them up last time by disconnecting the ring wire from all the extensions. Although I have to say the recent poor weather didn't help. It's almost as if the line is deteriorating and requires checking/fixing. But I seriously doubt BT will come out on the basis of these line stats!
Any other ideas please?
