      Re: Connection really slow

firstly, update ur profile as ur on Max not Connect...

      secondly, are you running wireless?

also, posting ur full stats up would help (see link in my sig on how to do this)

EDIT: ignore point 2, see ur wired. have you tried the master/test socket?

      Re: Connection really slow

You are synced with the exchange at 15mb, so it looks like you have a problem with line errors which means the router is slowing down because it is spending all its time correcting errors. When you say test socket do you mean the one behind the face plate?

      Re: Connection really slow

yeah the one behind the face plate but I've had problems in this house since I moved in, the peron who owned the house before us wired the phone line up wrong, when I fixed it everything worked fine but he must have done something else.

      Re: Connection really slow

When plugged into the test socket it should disconnect any extension wiring and connect you straight onto the BT line. Make sure any extension wiring is connected to the lower half of the face plate "the first bit that pulls off" the 2
connectors on the back of the main socket marked A and B should only have the BT line connected to them. If so then it looks like your line has a problem.

      Re: Connection really slow

The extension wiring is behind the test socket and bt have tested the line and say everything is fine
