    Connection really slow

    This is a discussion on Connection really slow within the Speed tests and how to get better results forums, part of the Sky Broadband help and support category; if the extention is behind the test socket then it's been done incorrectly - the whole point of the test ...

      if the extention is behind the test socket then it's been done incorrectly - the whole point of the test socket is to isolate the line to that one point, with all extentions wired into the faceplate!!

      looks like whoever wired it up has screwed u over!!

      And for the record, BT will almost always say line is fine....regardless

      apologies for not replying for a month but I took out the extension wire and plugged it into the socket and no difference. Argued with BT on the phone for ages and they don't care, we've had trouble with this line since we moved in, what can we do?
