Re: New on sky bb?
ur profile says ur on Base, which is up to 2MB - if ur on mid then change ur profile.
as for speed, post ur full stats up (see link on my sig on how to do this) and then we can see what's going on. are you wireless? are using an extention? there's a lot that can affect a BB connection...-------------------------------------------

Re: New on sky bb?
firstly, not a good idea having ur IP address on show - never know who's looking....
secondly, u need to run the program and get the 'detailed stats' and open the resulting file in wordpad or something similar.....
i would hazzard a guess that the extention is to blame however...-------------------------------------------

Re: New on sky bb?
That shows your router is synching at 6Mb, so a speedtest should give about 4.5Mb.
Do a test at Namesco BroadbandMax ADSL Broadband Bandwidth speedtest | Test your ADSL Broadband connection speed and post back
how are you connecting. wired or wireless?
You should also consider connecting the router direct to the TEST socket underneath the BT master socket (see my sig).

Re: New on sky bb?
okay, try running the optimiser (see my sig) and then do the speed test again and post back.
