      Re: Another to ponder

I know its a phaff but once you find the spot where it stays at 54 whilst idle and downloading.

What i did was run a speedtest.net speed test and had open the network connection window to monitor the tx rate, and moved the adaptor till it was stable at 54 whilst downloading and marked the postion and velcrowed the adaptor to that spot, and since then had damn good results, very very rare does it fall below 54...

      Re: Another to ponder

HAve you turned off upnp in the router settings?

this causes problems, disable it of its on.

Also my wireless connection drops to 11mbs sometimes but i still see 1300kbs downloads from it. Dont be too bothered about a full 54mbs signal as i find 11mbs is what my connection is at anyway so in speedtests i get 11700kbps on both wires and wireless connections with the 11mbs wireless signal.
