My Speeds
I have been on the Mid package for 9 days now and up until today it has been fine with a speed of around 7000 kb/s. Today I have had countless disconnections and now my connection speed has gone down from 8096 kb/s to 4928 kb/s. Since my last disconnection and with this new lower connection it does seem to be more stable as it has been connected for over a hour without any further interruptions

Re: My Speeds
Your stats show that you are still getting large numbers of errors, even at the lower speed. Have you tried using the test socket?

Re: My Speeds
Edit - I'm a muppet. Over the weekend we moved some furniture and somehow a wire must have come lose as I went around this eveing making sure they were all connected and to be honest they were but after making doubly sure both my connection and actual speeds are back to what they were:

Re: My Speeds
Alan, your errors are still quite high even though your noise margin is good. You may find you still get connection problems in the evening. Can you confirm that your latest set of stats were with the router plugged into the test socket?

Re: My Speeds
No they are not from the test socket. I have discovered over the weekend that our phone line is noisy so this has been reported to BT. Once this is sorted I'll see how stable my connection is with regards to disconnections, which after going wireless are fewer than before.
