this may not benefit connect customers but will certainly help max. although it may help connect who knows! if it does let me know!

I always test with a 700Mb file using a download manager and multithreads. It;s the best way.

well downthemall certainly helps getting the napster exe used to be slow and painful, now it came down at my lines full speed - 10 threads is definately the way to go and for most people it's as easy and downloading one.

Unfortunately with BD my max speed was 1545, so as you can imagine 1780 is a hellava lot faster and its a solid 1700ish too, not like the mountain range looking graph BD's connection did lol

Re: Speedtest are NOT the best way to determine speeds

      lol true true

anywhere here for me is the proof downthemall is the dogs..

try this via IE 1 thread HTTP

      http://www.petesmail.eu/f.exe

it's an exe that does not exectute i've programmed it to be not valid win32 and it's virus free( your free to check it yourself)

then try it on something like DAP - still poor speed

then downitall - i get full speed!" atlast i can use my 3.6TB monthyl bandwidth lol
