      Crap sync speeds

Started with sky on friday but since then the best sync I've got is 1500 or so, with the average being about 1100.

I've even been down to 780 or so.

Any ideas how to improve this?

      Re: Crap sync speeds

      Hi mate.

Your Downstream Line Attenuation of 63.5Db is where your problem is.

You may be able to change this slightly by trying your kit in the Test socket of your NTE5 if you have one (master telephone socket)..if not that isnt really a bad connection at all....thats getting on towards a 7k line.
Ive seen circuits with lower ATT than you on less speed.

      Re: Crap sync speeds

I'd be happy with 1500 this week !!!

Its down to 280 now. Last week was OK (it was my first week) but now its gone terrible this week.

Tried the test socket - no difference.
Every day when I wake up I thank the Lord I'm Welsh
