Re: Is My Speed Normal?
Your line attenuation will support ~7750kbps providing it is relatively noise free - it's not, as the stats show a high number of errors.
With or without those errors there's no advantage to you to move to Max unless you need the "unlimited" downloads and higher upload speed.
Please change your skyuser profile. You're on Mid but it says Base.

Re: Is My Speed Normal?
Thankyou for your reply you have cleared a few things up for me,
just one more thing those errors should i call sky about them so I can get the max speed poss or is it something i need to do internally?
This is a brand Apartment and has all new bt wirering built in the wall
Sorry if this question sounds stupid
Btw im not sure how to change my profile thats why its on base..
Cheers Ragga.

Re: Is My Speed Normal?
The errors are either arising from your wiring or in the line between you and the exchange - so your problem or BT's, not Sky's.
The most likely is your wiring. Are you connecting via an extension? For the best possible ADSL signal you should, if possible, connect via your master socket. You may also need to fit a replacement filtered faceplate. See the cabling and faceplate help forum for more info plus details of the tests you need to run to determine where the noise is arising.
You can change your profile by clicking on profile at the top of the page.

Re: Is My Speed Normal?
Thanks again for your help I will have a look in that forum you mentioned to find out more on the faceplate....
Im not to sure if I have a master socket in this apartment just looks like a normal one to me and its conneted directly to it with the filter its not on a extension.
