This was taken with the modem connected to the test socket.

      Welcome to the forum

Yes your line is capped and you are on G.DMT. Sky usually do this when they find line errors. The stats you posted are insufficient to tell what errors there still are and therefore what they might be uncapped and on ADSL2+.

Theoretically your line attenuation would give a faster connection on ADSL2+ but only if relatively error free.

Re: is my line capped and will it support adsl2+? (2)

I had a similar problem. I was connected yesterday but was capped at 8096 with a downstream attenuation of 26 and SNR of around 14. I spoke to tier 1 about an hour ago and got put through to tier 3.

It was explained to me that their ADSL checker said my line was capable of 4meg due to errors on the line, so they'd put me on ADSL1, capped at 8meg.

I pointed out that I'd been with Bulldog since July, connecting at 14meg+ with no problems, so he switched me to ADSL2+ and I connected at 16077! I am getting quite a few "far end" errors, so I'll probably have to drop the sync speed back a bit, but hopefully not too far.

It just goes to show that the checker they use can be a bit conservative!
