Had my Amstrad sky+ for 6 months trouble free viewing, developed a rattling hard drive. Phoned sky they arrived today within 48 hours of my call.
the engineer said "no point messing about i will replace the box" he replaced it with a Thomson and left i turned on my TV only to find dark lines running across the screen and no movies.
i phoned sky they said they would get the engineer back. the engineer phoned me to see what the problem was when i told him about the lines he said" i noticed that before i left" but give his due he was honest and returned within the hour with a brand new Pace box and did admit the (Thomson was a recon unit). Fantastic picture from the Pace.
So if you have to have you sky+ replaced insists on a pace.
