I would agree, since having upgraded to the High Def Sky+ box in June last year??, cannot remember exactly, whatever, no problems at all have shown up thus far. Which have also voted it as a 'best buy'.
Further to the links section of the post by reddwarfcrew, some of you tecchies out there might want to check out this link, prepar to be 'gobsmacked':

I believe if you buy from sky, you get one choice:
Pace TDS470N - Pace Micro Technology
Obvioulsy you can upgrade to sky+ yourself by buying a sky+ box and quad lnb. You then just need to ring up sky to switch on the sky+ features to your card and to 'marry' the card with the new box.

Even though my Sky+ boxes has broken down more times than my PC, it is still a great bit of kit.
