As i understand the only thing they can do at the moment is used to charge your Ipod etc, but that's it.

I've heard a rumor that there is a cam style device coming in the near future to wirelessly link your sky/sky+/skyHD box to SkyBB routers for vod. Whilst a usb device could do the same job, only the newer boxes have it, whereas all sky boxes have the 'digital interface' that will accept the cam devices.
Like I said only a rumor, but quite plausable i think.

There is a major update for the Sky by Broadband Service,
Where you can get Sky Box Offfice movies & also some SkyOne content?
But I dont see why they would want to fund out more money on this iPTV service for?
However they may - thinking of BT-21C Update? When it all turns IP based?>
iPTV
VOiP

Re: USB slots
i read in a magazine somewhere that there would be a portable sky+ media player released, like a portable dvd players but you would watch programs recorded onto your sky+ box. you would then transfer the programmes to the media player.
