Re: Getting Sky Plus
i need a knight hood
1, you CANNOT USE THE SPLITTER
2, did sky do it? really?
follow the previous steps, you need 2 feeds directly from the quad lnb

Re: Getting Sky Plus
Ok, I am going to advise you of this once more, ignore it and you may blow the backside our of your receiver (I am kind of hoping you do now anyway)
It's simple, you need the quad LNB fitted to the dish and two cables from that to your Sky+ receiver.
You CANNOT use that splitter, it will not work and may damage the receiver.
If this is beyond you (and it seems that it is) do yourself a favour and get someone out to do it for you, it will be cheaper in the long run.
You will need two feeds to do anything with regards to watching or recording two seperate channels.
The receiver sends a voltage to the LNB on the dish which controls it, if you split the cable as you have, the receiver will attempt to send two voltages to the dish and may cause damage to either the LNB or the receiver.
