SKY+ box problem - powering on
This is our second box as part of our multi-room package so its not used that much.
However, I notice that its been going into standy. Then unable to power on (green light). I've pulled the plug out and left it for 5, plugged back in waited for 10 and its been ok then.
However, I think its getting worse. Now it only works sometimes. Also, I got an error saying sky+ not working do I want to continue without.
Any ideas?
Havent long had multi-room. What are the chances of sky fixing for free? I guess I'm tied into 12 months contract for multi-room so I guess I cant threaten that.
Other than that - but a 2nd hand sky + box off ebay?Every day when I wake up I thank the Lord I'm Welsh

If you're in contract then you are covered under warranty, give them a call.

Re: SKY+ box problem - powering on
Upgraded to Sky HD about 3 months ago and our original sky+ box went to be used as the second box for multi-room. So even though the HD box is new the sky+ is one we've had for years.
Not sure if they'd see that as convered under warranty...Every day when I wake up I thank the Lord I'm Welsh

At most it'll cost you £65, which is prolly less than a poss dodgy box off ebay!
