Sky multiroom
We currently have sky + and have received a letter through the post for sky multiroom (as our area had switched over already) at only £5 per room. I rang immediately as my 2 teenage sons were wanting multiroom only to be told that my area had not switched (I assured her it had) and had a "computer says no" conversation. I spent 40 useless minutes on the phone where I still did not get my offer so I emailes sky. I have now had to scan and email the letter to sky as they wanted £199/extra box (the letter has no mention of this!) and they are looking into it for me athough I dont hold out much hope. I had this problem last year with an offer I read off skys website which again I was told I was wrong!
Has anybody got sky multiroom and how much did you pay so I have an idea when sky get back to me?
Cheers

Not sure but the letter opens with:
As you're a sky customer in a region that's recently switched over to digital, we thought we'd write and let you know that times running out on our exclusive switchover offer - sky multiroom Lite at £5 a month........

I too received this letter, not read it properly, but if its the manchester area your talking about i'd give them another ring and speak to a different cs adviser that knows what they're talking about, does look like an attractive offer. Don't think there's mention of it being a sky+ box though unless u take a HD box, with the additional subscriptions of that.

Re: Sky multiroom
I think anyone in a digital switchover area can get it for multiroom, Sky+ or Sky+HD, it is only for customers who don't have any premium packages though.
Currently, the Winterhill transmitted has just been done which covers a large area of the North West.

I'll try again today - it's so frustrating when you get the offer and they deny all knowledge - i think i'll just keep ringing until I get someone who know what offers they're offering!!

Re: Sky multiroom
I phoned earlier this year (March i think) for this because i got the same letter and they denied all knowledge (we swithched over in June).
Then in April my internet connection died and it took 2 weeks to sort. As part of the sweetener they offered me Multiroom Lite, which didn't exist remember, along with 3 months free internet.
Keep bugging them, it really does seem to depend on who you are talking to at Sky.

Re: Sky multiroom
I have tryed to get multiroom lite on a number of occations with out success . They have offered it to some people in and out of digital switch over areas. It depends who you speak to and if your face fits. I have never had any joy getting it.

Re: Sky multiroom
If you have a leaflet and Sky then deny all knowledge go and speak to your local trading standards as they can throw their weight behind this.
This is the problem with Sky they can have great packages etc yet you can have such a mixed reaction with CS.I'm a PC, and Windows 7 Backup saved my sanity when BitDefender imploded !!!
