Hi,
Can anyone tell me how Series Link deals with Episodes which are directly after one another?
For example:
Scrubs Series 8 is on E4 tonight (Sweet), and I have series linked it, but there are 2 episodes on one after the other.
Will it record both or do I need to manually record the second episode?

What I normally do is serise link both programms just to make sure they both record. You do it once then they record automatcally every week after.

well you can just series link the first one, and the episode after will be recorded too, seeing as it is in the same series. That is the whole idea.

That was essentially my question. When I have recorded the first episode in the past (and the second episode is on immediately afterwards), the second episode has failed to record.
Is/Was this a common issue? Is it ok to just record the first episode and expect the second (straight after) to record.

I have found this too. I always link both episodes, it takes a few seconds and saves disappointment.the second episode has failed to record.

The series link information comes from the broadcaster. If it doesn't work properly, it's because they haven't fed in the correct information. Originally Posted by Jj Carnon

Hi,
Just thought I would post an update on this issue. I decided not to bother setting up a record on the second episode and see how it went.
While the first episode was recording the second episode (immediately after) was set up to record, and then proceeded to record.
