Anyone have listings problem last night

      Hi,

Strangely when looking for channel listings last night (around 9:30pm onwards) the SKY+ box would only begin to show listings for programmes after midnight - if you clocked forwards gradually the listings filled up so that by Friday lunch time all channels could be seen.

A scheduled recording took place in this period OK but when looked at later was without the usual synopsis, the box indicating that it wasn't available.

This morning all is back to normal, but while I was out the wife took a phone call from someone in a call centre asking if we had experienced any problems with our SKY box - she said yes, and then the lady asked her (giving my wife's name name) if she was that person - the wife affirmed she was, but then the lady asked if we had a SKY subscription - my wife indicated that it was surely the case if we had a SKY box and we'd already talked about a probloem! At that point the phone conversation ended.

Don't suppose anyone could shed any light on it. We could watch recorded programmes OK, but for a few hours had no access to channels. Didn't want to turn off the box as The Bill was recording, but the soft on/off didn't restore listings.

      Cheers

Have you had your new viewing card yet? We have had listing and synopsis problems intermittantly ever since we inserted ours.

At about 8pm last night it was very slow in loading, can't comment about 9 30, as at that time it was recording two programmes.

Try recording what you're watching, whilst another program is being recorded on another channel. You could have a problem with one of the inputs to the box. You could also check the signal strengths and qualities in the menus.

Couldn't watch anything apart from recorded progs as clicking on a channel without a listing gave no result, not even by entering the channel number manually. WIll check the other details, but it was weird that later listings were filling up.

Haven't had a new viewing card - are some new ones being sent out?

      Cheers
