Straight Swap PVR2 for PVR3
I'm thinking about taking up Sky with an offer they've made to me for Sky+ for £30 all in but it will be a Grade A PVR2 box.
Would it be possible to go ahead with the install then purchase a PVR3 box from say Ebay and then just swap it with the PVR2 to get the extra functionality eg Anytime?

Yes, they should swap over without a problem. The only thing you will need to do is to pair the card to the new receiver which only takes a phone call and a few minutes.
You can then sell the other one on e-bay to recoupe some of your losses.
