Sky+ record failure?
just lately i've had a few programs that i've tried to record has failed, when i go into the planner, it has failed written in the "viewed" section
any ideas whats up?

If it's a Thomson box over 2 years old, it could be a power supply fault. Otherwise, a faulty LNB or hard drive could also cause these problems.

i've just tried to record again, it failed.
ok, what tests can i do to see what the problem is?
this may be an excuse to order HD

after a lot of searching about, it looks as if it's the psu, satcure has a lot of info on it and theres a guynot far from me that can repair them for £30

If it's a Thomson box, then it could well be the PSU. Other makes will fail too after a time, but the Thomson boxes seem more prone to premature failure.
