      Angry sky+ not working at all

      Hi, I had a sky+ box fitted a little over 3 weeks ago (4th of April to be exact), this was to replace my basic sky box. The sky+ functions have never worked, I have rang sky about 7 or 8 times, each time speaking to a different person and as well as making me press this and that, they keep mentioning an LT1? form and insisting they will sort it for me, but, still no sky+ functions, I have written them a complaint letter (approx 5 days ago), although I realise I need to give them more time to reply, I am at my wits end as to what to do next, ringing them up just doesnt seem to get anything sorted - does anybody have a magic wand please?

      If it is less than 30 days from when you had it fitted, it will still be under the fitters guarantee. Call them to get it fixed, as there may be a hardware problem with the box.

      When I had my sky+ fitted the fitter gave me a mobile number and said if there is a problem in the first 4 weeks ring him not sky. After 4 weeks it's up to sky.

      Unless your issue is a hardware fault, it sounds very similar to an issue i have where i had Sky+HD box installed over 3 weeks ago and my sky+ (and HD incidentally) still doesnt work. Sky customer relations say its something to do with my subscription and an I.T. error at Sky which is preventing them from updating my subscription to 'allow' me to record stuff. v annoying.

      More likely the card has'nt been paired to the Sky+ properly when it was swapped out.
