      sky freeze

got a problem with the picture freezing on most channels on my sky+ box.I can get sky news,bbc1 &2 without a problem but sky sports(all of them) and sky1 which I watch regularly are impossible. It is doing my head in,I just settle down when about 12 seconds after turning the channel on it freezes and no way can I get it to continue.Does anyone know of a quick fix or does it mean an expensive call by the teckies.many thanks.susan.

      Re: sky freeze

Unplug the box from the mains, hold down the back up button on the box, DO NOT LET GO!! Re-connect the power, wait for all the LED's on the box to light then let go of the back up button. Wait until the lights go off, then wait 2 mins and try to take the box out of standby.
