HD is actually cheaper at the moment, although it does cost you 10 a month extra. You don't need an HD TV to use the box, it comes with SCART which you can connect to an ordinary TV. It depends on when you are going to upgrade your TV. If it is not going to be for a while, you will be paying the HD subscription for nothing. If you are planning to do it in the next 2 or 3 months, you would be better going straight into HD now, rather than have to pay again to upgrade from Sky+.

Also due to the very weak pound prices for computer parts and electronics are going UP and have done since November, if you have an eye on a TV if you can afford to get it now it may be worth doing so.

I bought a new PC and a load of associated stuff with it and I checked again the price for a friend as he was interested in getting some of the stuff and the prices had gone up 25-35%!!
I'm a PC, and Windows 7 Backup saved my sanity when BitDefender imploded !!!
