Thought you might like to see reply from Sky Help

We recently had sky+ installed and out of curiosity I have just tried to use the anytime feature to see what is on there. However on selecting the programme guide I find that there are only three buttons for planner a-z & favourites. Could there be a problem with the box or does this have to be activated by you ??? or could it be that there is nothing available at the time I tried.

Sorry for the delay in replying to your message.
Please follow the steps below to run a connection check because if something is out of place then this can cause you to lose some features on your digi box.
SCART/RF connection check procedure
If the problem appears to only affect Sky channels, please continue with the procedure below.
Switch your Sky box onto standby.
Check that the TV SCART, Video SCART and RF connections at the back of the TV, video recorder and Sky box are secure.
On your Sky remote control, press the tv button followed by the Sky button.
If your television has alternative SCART connection, change the connection and retry from step 2.
If your television is set to RGB there may be a slight difference in picture quality or colour balance compared to default picture settings.
Your Sky Anytime option should now be visible on your menu.
If you continue to have problems, please get in touch with Sky's technical support team.

Re: No anytime red button
Sounds about right, classic automated style response where they don't read the issue properly.
