      Help please.

      Hi All,
      I was getting lots of problems with my sky+ box and was informed it could be due to my hard drive failing so i got a spare of a friend, i connected the new box with my card in it and all was well for a few days, I'm now getting programmes shown as recorded but when i go to view them it says "recording interrupted please wait" on waiting it then says end of programme. This leaves me with nothing to view as it says viewed but i havent been able to view anything. I have done a full system reset but still no good, Any suggestions please.

      Welcome Shaun.

      A couple of questions.
      Is your box linked to your viewing card?
      As I understand it this must be done by Sky.

      Am I right in assuming you have the
      minimum Sky subscription package to be able to use Sky+?

      I havent linked my card to my sky+ box, does it have to be a call to sky??
      Its not the minimum package, i dont have sports or films.

      Yes, you have to ring sky and pair the card to the receiver or it will not work. Only takes a few minutes but they will need card number and a couple of other details like serial number off the receiver.

      Remember to tell them it's a Sky+ receiver so the can turn on the functions.

      No other way of doing it. Ring the number on the screen.
