      New Hard Disk

      Hi this is my first post here and i need a bit of help, I have sky+ and the hard disk is full I just wanted to replace it, do you know if a a 500gb ide seagate drive will be ok to install???

      Also do I need to format the drive using my pc first or just put it straight into the sky+ box???

      any help would be great..
