      Just be aware if you haven't read the posts in the link above that, although the solution does work for most people, if you switch the unit to standby you'll have the problem again. So it means you have to leave your unit switched on.......running......getting hot as the disk does not spin down.

      Thanks Sky! Please come through with the 'promised' fix. I know it only/mostly nobbles those of us who have 'self-upgraded' and we know you want us to updgrade to one of your HD boxes, but we all pay your subscription fees which is where most of your income comes from, so don't penalise us for wanting a bigger hard drive!

      And if my drive goes kaboom before the fix comes along.............

      Mine won't even record now and my Planner has been wiped clean.

      They really have messed up.
