It won't be just one capacitor.
Satcure do a kit for the Thomson PSU, or there's a guy on Ebay that does repairs to PSU's for £27.99 who claims a 2-day turnaround. As with all electrical devices, you should take care when working on these supplies - the capacitors in these can give you a nasty jolt, even when the box is unplugged !
P.S. The Satcure kit contains about a dozen capacitors - you should change all of them, to safeguard against future problems, even though some of the ones you're changing look OK. A capacitor only bulges when it's just about to go, and there may be others in there which are faulty, but not bulging. Some of the capacitors are strange values which may be hard to find, and all capacitors must be 105 degree types, of the same voltage rating, or better. Make sure you get the capacitors the right-way around when you change them, or they will fail very loudly !Last edited by Old_nick; 19-05-09 at 11:20 AM.
