Sky+ connections

problem may be with tv or the way i am connecting sky+ to tv.
have a 40" Samsung LCD (LE40R74BD)
i can use the sky plus remote to operate the tv and the sky plus box.
The sky plus comes through EXT 1. When i turn on the tv it goes to EXT 1, then when i turn on the sky plus box the tv input changes to EXT 2 where there is no input.
I have to revert to the tv remote and press the source button to go back to EXT 1.
How can i prevent this happening

Declan,

You need to give the chaps here a clue as to how your TV is connected to the box - Whilst I can take an educated guess, that isn't be best way to troubleshoot your issue.

If you are using a scart connection, have you tried connecting it to EXT2 (assuming this is also a scart on your set). Make and Model number of the sky box would also be useful.

Have you tried anything else?

Such making sure that "Scart Control" is ON in the menu.
