Sky+ on a single LNB without subscription

      Hi,

Currently I have a Sky+ install with the normal 2 feeds and Sky+ subscription. Now I am moving to a flat and I want to plug in the Sky+ where there is only one satellite feed and I will not be subscribing for the time being.

What I would like to know is:

      • Will I be able to record a single channel and watch a stored program?
      • If I keep the viewing card in which will not have a subscription, will I automatically get the free view channels?

I was just in the middle of asking Sky on this when I appear to have been cut off I doubt I will get a call back to save me the hassle of navigating through their telephone system!

      Thanks,
      Jack

Yes and yes afaik. Don't forget you could record BBC1 on Sky and watch ITV on the normal aerial if you wish to. Your card should revert to the free version (normally you would pay 20 for it, but your old card does the same)

      Thanks NewsreadeR.

Oh and without dragging up threads that were a bit confusing, in a nut shell is it possible to buy a device which splits one LNB feed in to two for a fully functional Sky+. If so what does it cost?

      Thank again,
      Jack
