slow blue button
installed sky+ box and noticed that using FAVORITES (blue button) button is slow. once u press it, it takes around a second to see the change on the screen, so i can;t flick through my favorite channels fast, i have to press, wait a second, channel info changes, press again, wait another second, info comes up. all other buttons show instant reaction.
Amstrad Sky+ box.

Re: slow blue button
you could try a planner rebuild (not that this should be linked)
GO:
Services
4
0
1
select
7
failing that, a full system reset (as above, but 8 not 7). NB this will WIPE your hard drive.

Re: slow blue button
what do you mean by "0" ? there is no zero as option. when i go to services, then 4 (system setup), there is 1 to 8 only.
by the way, my planner is empty and hdd is empty. shall i go for full system reset ?

Re: slow blue button
its a secret menu. press the sequence as described and ignore that nothing appears to happen at first.
yes go for opt 8 then.

Re: slow blue button
replacement what? Box or remote?
Probably worth borrowing a neighbours remote (or popping around their's with yours) to prove if it is the remote or box.
