      Future record oddity

      Hi,
I'm trying to record a couple of days of the golf at the end of this week on Sky Sports One (yes I am subscribed!) - I can set the record for Thursday - even do a series link - but I cannot at the moment set the box to record individually Friday, Saturday or Sunday. Pressing 'R' results in nothing happening and asking for info tells me there is none - Does anyone know if there's a remedy for this?

      Cheers

Solved it temporarily by using the sky remote option. Asked for it via the web site and lo and behold there it is now a few minutes later - brilliant!

      Cheers

Out of interest gave the golf a try - for the record exactly the same on our system.

Thanks for the confirmation - have been out of the country for a week - well the Isle of Wight actually ;-))

Looks like the recording request via the PC worked fine though - just 3% left on the HD!!

      Cheers

Long shot but do you think it would set an auto series link for the golf, afterall it is the same program, I wonder if it would have just carried on recording the complete thing.

I seem to remember somthing similar with the Grand Prix, set it to series link the qualy and it did the main race as well.

I seem to remember trying the series link option - and indeed it gave me that - the thing was that I knew I would run out of space so I specifically wanted just the last two days. (And then some R4 sports guy decided to tell me the result yesteray morning when I was half conscious at 6:30 AM!!) But I'll still watch to see how Porridge managed it!

      Cheers
