Sky+ warranty
Warranty is due to expire in June. Is it worth taking the insurance at £9.59 a month? Call out fee is £72, is that for just looking or will they fix as well. How reliable is the box after 1 yr? Thanks

Re: Sky+ warranty
Skys call out is a fixed fee for swapping out the box or fixing the dish which then gets a 3 month warranty or something. My Sky+ box is 3 - 4 years old now and has only failed once when the hard drive packed up. I fixed it myself just stuck a new one in, so if it dont go wrong for a year or so you should be quids in. If you do take the extended warranty beware of third party companys claiming to be or acting on behalf of Sky, they are often more expensive and nothing to do with Sky.
