You might have problems with copy protection. Maplins sell some signal conditioners which basically remove macrovision.
There is no p in Thomson.

why not save them on your computer harddrive a program such as dvd decryptor will rip a dvd off its disk and save it onto hardrive other programs include dvd shrink and convert x to dvd (all of which if you want are available through p2p torrent search engines and downloaders, you could then set up a folder with the dvd,s and your daughter could watch them on the pc
