Re: sky+ & freeview
Not sure if this really answers what you are asking, but I have two Sky+ boxes, one of which no longer has a subscription so it just shows all the free channels. That gives me the option of re-subscribing if I start to make more use of that box.

Re: sky+ & freeview
Yes it's easy. You have your Sky+ Digibox connected to the LNB on your dish and your Freeview receiver connected to an aerial above your roof. Voila! Sky+ and Freeview.

Re: sky+ & freeview
Can you receive HD films on pay for view, on a sky + box.
Or do I have to upgrade.

Re: sky+ & freeview
Sorry to hijack the thread but I wanted to do the same thing in that I have Sky+ and a spare Sky digibox (no viewing card) and wanted Freesat in another room.
With regards to the LNB how difficult is it to run and additional cable from the dish?? Would it require a degree in electrical engineering or could an IT bod like myself find it fairly strat forward?

Fit 'F' connector to cable"
How to fit F Connectors to coaxial cable
Screw cable to quad-output LNB with suitable weatherproofing:
Fitting rubber boots to LNB cables
Drill hole through wall. Feed cable through. Hammer cable clip every 40cm to secure it.
Fit 'F' connector. Connect to Digibox.

Re: sky+ & freeview
Thanks again Sam.
Can I ask, I'm looking to wire up the other TV but was going to be really lazy and pop to B&Q to get the coax but they seem to only have PF100. I have noticed you recommend WF100 in a lot of posts and just wondered if I should get my lazy behind to a real cable supplier and get some WF100?
