      Channels "pausing" on their own

On one of our boxes (Amstrad A2P0524 or "PVR3" as some call it), channels will occasionally freeze, leaving a static image on the screen.

However, if I rewind it plays back OK (hence the thread title), so it's nothing to do with the signal. Changing the channel and going back again is OK as well.

Anyone got any ideas as to what's wrong?

      Thanks

Re: Channels "pausing" on their own

I also have a Amstrad PVR3 and the playback of a recording freezes for me sometimes when I resume play after fast forward or rewinding. I have to restart playback to get past the freezing point.
