    Sky+ limits as to use

This is a discussion on Sky+ limits as to use within the Sky+ forums, part of the Sky & Sky+ TV category; I read recently in a Satellite magasine, that Sky no longer restricted the "record and pause" facilities to only those ...

      Sky+ limits as to use

I read recently in a Satellite magasine, that Sky no longer restricted the "record and pause" facilities to only those with a subscription. As of the end of August. I am a Freesat user and wish to purchase a Sky+ box but do not wish to take out an annual contract at this time.

Can anyone confirm that I will be able to use all the facilities without having to commit to 16 a month.

And when I buy the box ( tomorrow ) will Sky be OK with "pairing" my new Sky+ box with my Freesat card. Or will it simply work, as it does with all other standard boxes?

I have a quad LNB and have put the double cabling in place.

( new member and still finding my way around )

I was still under the impression that the use of the Sky+ Features were Free, Providing you have an active subscription.
If you didnt have a subscription and had only the FTA channels, The only way to be able to use the Sky+ features was to pay 10 a month.

I think Sky should be fine to pair up your new card with the Sky+ box, But im not to sure, They should be able to confirm this with you when you order.
