Am new to Sky and new to the forum. Did a quick search and couldn't find the answer to this so sorry if I'm duplicating!

Having problems registering for remote record. I've got a Sky portal account online. As per their instructions, I go to the services menu on my remote and choose the options for Sky account holders.

But when I enter my mobile number it says that the request cannot be completed due to technical problems.

I'm guessing I'm doing something wrong as if nobody could register it wouldn't have gone on for such a long time (about four weeks now).

Can anyone tell me what I need to do next?
