      New guy here with sky+

Hi all Dave here from Northampton. I live in a caravan and originally purchased a freeview box and digi aerial, BUT could not get good reception so i purchased a sky+ reciever and dish from UK Satellite. I then went to my daughters in MK ( who has sky ) and phone sky, saying i lived with her and wanted sky in my bedroom could i have a freesat card. I paid 20 and card has arrived at daughter, im going over there today with my sky+box and connect it to her tele and dish, then i will phone sky and register viewing card. But since i have read some of your threads on here when i phone sky i will have to tell them i have sky+ and pay the monthly sub so i can use my HD recorder. I just hope when i unplug it all and take it to my caravan it will work. At the moment i am watching the sky without a card and the picture is brilliant.
Dave ( i will take a photo of caravan and dish later a post it )

The monthly sub for Sky+ has been scrapped - its free now, but you still have to ask Sky to activate it for you . . .

I don't know that it will, you may have to activate the card at the address you are going to use it.
