      upgrade box

      recently upgraded my Sky+ box to Sky HD.

      would now like to replace my original Sky box (used for multiroom) with the now unused Sky+ box, what's the best way to do this ?

      any info appreciated

      You will need to run another cable from your LNB to the Sky plus box, then ring sky up to activate the Sky plus features.

      thanks.

      if i want to use the sky+ box without the sky+ features, ie just for general viewing (the original box and remote are long past it) is it just a matter of asking sky to 'pair' the viewing card with the sky+ box, and is there any charge for this ?
