You don't have to touch anything to check the signal levels, that at least will give you an idea if it is a feed or LNB.
Goto services and signal test, you should have two locked signals (one for each LNB connection)

But, from time to time only signal lock 1, lose its lock , could that a faulty LNB? signal lock 2 is always working.
It mostly happens at night time around 9:30pm - 1:00pm, but only signal lock 1, the 1st bar theres no signal, and bar 2 show low or no signal, and it loses it lock when that happens, and recordings fail also at the time, even tho Signal lock 2 is still working, recordings record from signal lock 2 signal lock 1 is used to watch sky. Sometimes through the day and also most nights I have to reboot the box to get signals back to normal, any recordings after reboot come back and recording continues as normal, which frustrates me.
signal lock quality is always high, when box is rebooted, only on signal lock 1 quality does go low, in the night times only. Signal lock 2 is always high quality and around half strength or just under, But I get clashes in my sky+ recordings, even on 1 recording. I tryed recording most haunted on living2 twice, both had clashed recording, even tho theres no other recording on.
Is it a Sky+ software/firmware problem, or is it a faulty LNB?
If its a Sky+ firmware/software, do I need to tell sky this?Last edited by jdsimp1234; 12-09-08 at 12:23 PM.

Sounds like either LNB or cables/connections, have you checked the f-connectors are on right and tight?
