      Re: Sky box

I dont think Sky just hand out free boxes based on the fact its getting "old".
Sky might do something if you took out Sky care and it is damaged.

      Is it worth getting Sky+?
We have had it since it launched, PVR1 Days, Which seemed mega fast and only had a few glitches but then when we moved house and got the newer PVR3 boxes, It really shows how much things have changed.

The newer Sky+ (PVR3) is alot faster, Has a new Anytime TV option, Where a few selected shows are auto-downloaded so you can view at anytime.

The recording feature is pretty great, It has two feeds, So you can record two programes at the same time and watch a recorded on, Or record one and watch another.

Sky+ is about 49 or so for old customers, Which you can usually get by speaking to Sales/Retentions.

The recording charges (Used to be 10) have been removed providing you subscribe to a TV mix.
Installation I think is now 30.

      Hope that helps.
