      'Interestin' install!

The 'engineer' came this morning as promised - can't fault the process, but wasn't quite prepared for having to do the work myself!

"Can't drill through the outside wall sir - in case I damage the plaster - I can lend you my drill to do the same" What about the inside wall between two rooms? "Can't drill through those sir either in case I damage the plaster, but I can lend you the drill".

Botom line - I had to drill through an outside wall and an internal wall. Pity help a more elderly customer! I certainly wasn't expecting that!

No Thompson or Pace box - just the Amstrad so we'll see how long it lasts!
      Cheers

Ha ha! The 'engineer' even used my electric to re-charge his drill. I'm surprised he didn't charge me for the masonry drills. I've been outside since and covered the exposed screws with petroleum jelly to try and ward off the dreaded rust - we're right on the coast and the salt is very corrosive.

      Cheers

      Drat, didn't think!
Incidentally I notice the dish has a little spirit level on it - not sure why as the bubble is displaced to the right.

Probably to allow for the prevailing wind
